BB3 High Pressure Horizontal centrifugal pumps are designed and manufactured in accordance with API 610 as axial separation with inter-bearing impellers. The suction and thrust flanges are located on the lower half of the pump housing.
Butterfly arrangement is designed to neutralize axial forces back-to-back. To reduce NPSHr, it can be manufactured with either a first class propeller or a double-propeller. The combination of hydrodynamic bearings and roller bearings is used to withstand the forces acting on the pump axle. The seals are designed according to API 682. The dynamic balance of the rotating parts results in a smooth pump performance with low vibration and high reliability.
