The PV5 pump is a vertical, suspended, free-standing pump and complies with the API 610 standard for VS5 type pumps. The coil is of a single type and has a drift tube separate from the body tube.
The pump shaft is held by the bearings in the upper chamber (bed) and there are no sliding bearings in the body tube. The pump is designed for installation in wells, ditches, and tanks and for pumping liquids containing abrasive particles or slurry.
