The pump shaft is protected by a replaceable nickel chrome steel liner. The radial and axial forces applied to the pump axis are supported by two bearings on one side of the impeller. The bearings are lubricated by oil and lubrication with grease is possible on request. The axis and bearing of the ETA pumps are reinforced relative to the ETA-centrifugal pumps.
